Corbis announced on this date that it will end direct licensing of stock photography in Japan.
At the same time, the Seattle-based distributor said it has signed an agreement with amanaimages under which the Japanese company will represent a part of Corbis' rights-managed collection in Japan.
Corbis will represent part of amanaimages' rights-managed and royalty-free library in markets outside Japan and Korea, it was noted in a press release.
